The Program

  1. What topics do you cover in your program?

Horse 101 starts right at the begining. How a horse thinks, how to teach him to learn. Then everything about their full care.

Brushing, anatomy, vital signs, bandaging, first aid, colours, markings, breeds, tacking horses, ground excercises, clipping, and SO MUCH MORE. The program was started in 2009 to help people that are just starting out in the horse industry, or folks that have been away from horses for awhile, It helps people understand the horse better and in the end makes them better riders and horseman. It is also a GREAT confidence builder for those riders/owners that have had a bad or scary encounter.

Prices and times

  1. How much does the Program cost? And when can I come?

Instead of paying for the full course all at once, we do not want anyone stressed over the money part. It is pay as you go -( per class.) You can bring a friend if you wish for a discount. But it is $40.00 per class. We prefer to work in cash, Thank you.

The times are very flexable. We prefer evening classes around 7:00 but again we are flexible. It is geared for a 90 minute class (but normally goes longer)
